Staging & Redesign is the talk of the town!

With programs like “Property Brothers” and “Love It or List It” on HGTV, home staging and redesign are catching on fire here on the East coast.  The value of staging is vast and it’s not uncommon to overhear conversations discussing the importance of showcasing a home & its benefits.

However, there is another part of the staging business commonly referred to as redesign. Staging & Redesign have many similarities. Like home staging, redesign is the art of rearranging a room to create warmth and hospitality.  It is working with what you already own and mixing in new on trend accessories, pillows, artwork, etc. You want your room to be inviting, harmonious and comfortable.  Redesign is freshening and renewing that tired space and creating something really special.

Questions to ask your self:

-Do you love your large living room, but find the current arrangement lacks a “homey” feel?

-Do you think your space is too small and feel there nothing you can do about it?

-Do you constantly flip through décor magazines or watch home makeover TV shows, hoping to get inspired?

-Do you buy new things, but find that they just don’t seem to fit in?

-Do you just have trouble pulling it all together for a cohesive look?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, a makeover could rescue your home – give redesign a try (and save your wallet)!
